A Quick Editor for all your films

A Quick Editor for all your films

    Added

    • A Quick Editor for your own films — fifty at a time, one row each, with its own tab in your dashboard.
    • Edit a title inline and save that one row, or save every row you changed at once.
    • Each row carries a badge per thing the film can hold: Genres, Music, Location, Content warning, Notes, Credits. A dashed badge means it is empty; a filled one shows what is in it. Click one and only that field opens.
    • Visibility sits on the same line, green for Public and red for Private, and switches without leaving the page.
    • Films with no video yet. If films were entered for you from the archive, the editor now says so and takes the YouTube link right there — it checks the link, pulls the thumbnail and the length, and the row turns into a normal film. Filter to No video yet to work through them in one pass. If you do not have the videos at all, there is a Request the files button that messages KTL ADMIN for you — every film since the beginning is on a hard drive.
    • Locations accept a public place by name — a park, a venue, a landmark — as well as a general area, and the place you pick is what gets pinned on the map.
    • Every row links out to the film page, the full editor, and straight to the video on YouTube.

    Changed

    • The map plots a named location exactly. General areas keep their random pin inside the area, as before.
    • Postal codes outside the US that America has never used — Rome, Madrid — now find the right country instead of coming back empty.
    • Music is one search box rather than separate artist and song fields, and “No song used” is an answer you can give.
    • Genres gained Music Video.

    Removing a film

    • You can remove one of your films from the Quick Editor. It goes to the trash, the same as deleting it from Your KTL Films — but the row tells you first what goes with it: whether anyone else is credited on it, and whether another film links to it.
