Absolutely. Nothing's ever stopping you from making a KTL film. Spots might open up last minute (make sure you're on the waitlist), and many players play/screen their films with friends.

We've had well over 200 first-time directors debut at The KTL Show.

Here's the entire step by step process for premiering your film at The KTL Show.

The KTL Show is open to anyone. We don't cater to any group or lane besides filmmaking, and the audience and filmmakers range from first-time hobbyists to industry veterans and creative professionals.

Ultimately, Kick The Ladder and The KTL Show are for people who want a good way to practice film, explore it as a hobby, and make films with their friends.

We show debuts first in the night, and the rest will be screened in the order they were submitted (note: not the order of film slot sign-ups).

No tickets, just 10 bucks at the door.

At our usual home at Wild Heaven West End, people attending The KTL Show will never have to pay to park.

When you arrive, scan the codes in the lot to start a free 2 hour parking session. We will have a validation code on the screen, or at the bar, for you to extend that parking for the rest of the night for free.

Forget to scan the code in the lot? We'll have the QR code in the room you scan so you don't have to leave.

We ultimately don't feel qualified to answer that on your behalf and encourage you to decide that for yourself.

We do try to place any explicitly mature films in the second half of the show after intermission, but we do not screen the films beforehand, nor do we censor content in any way. 

We think each filmmaker having their own spotlight is important. We go one film and filmmaker at a time, and after their film screens, they come up and get a chance to talk about it and answer questions briefly, before we move on to the next film.
